Corona Protocol Guided Tours Rotterdam

We follow the guidelines of the RIVM closely, which means the following:

-Tours should always be booked online and in advance.

-At the time of booking participants declare that they will not take part in the tour if they can answer positively to any of the following questions:

• Have you had any of the following symptoms in the last 24 hours:
  • Coughing?
  • A runny nose?
  • Fever of 38 Celsius or above?
  • Shortness of breath?
• Does anyone in your household have a fever or shortness of breath?
• Have you been tested positively for the coronavirus in the last 7 days?
• Does anyone in your household have the coronavirus, and have you had contact with him/her in the last 14 days when they were still showing symptoms?
• Are you in quarantine because you have had direct contact with someone who has the coronavirus?

-Our guides also declare that they will not go on the tour if any of the above is true at that time.

-If participants start showing symptoms as described above during the tour, they should immediately end their participation on that tour.

-We will keep to a maximum of 12 participants per guide to ensure health and safety for all group members.

-All participants should keep 1,5 meters distance from one another, hereafter called social distancing.

-Participants from the same household do not need to practice social distancing.

-Different households should also practice social distancing from each other and the guide.

-All participants and the guide should practice social distancing between themselves and other members of the public at all times.

-We will avoid busy spots as much as possible to ensure everyone’s ability to practice social distancing. 

-To ensure that the starting point does not get too busy, we will implement staggered time slots at least 30 minutes apart.

-At the start of the tour the guide will check that everyone is healthy once again by asking the questions listed above.

-During the booking process participants will be informed about the rules that will be implemented during the tour, and these rules will be repeated at the start of the tour. All participants should agree to these rules and follow them at all times.

-The tour guide is authorized to end participation on a tour if participants break these rules.

-If we enter any building during the tour we will follow all the guidelines that are relevant to that building. These guidelines will be clearly communicated by the tour guide in advance of entering the building. 

-We will inform participants about the availability of public toilets en route, so they know when and where they can make safe use of these facilities.

-If any kind of transport is used during the tour, i.e. bikes, scooters, etc., all contact points will be disinfected before and after the tour takes place. This includes, but is not limited to handles, brakes, and saddles.

-Bookings can be moved to another date or canceled free of charge up to 48 hours in advance if, due to Corona restrictions, the tour can no longer take place as planned.
